MISCHIEF & MAYHEM

WINE TASTING

Thursday 2nd February 2012

12.30 for 1pm

4 course lunch

with wine tasting

£35

We have been lucky enough to secure a lunchtime wine tasting with Michael and Fiona Ragg, co-founders of Mischief and Mayhem wines as featured in the Christmas edition of Harper Wine – Britain’s most respected wine journal.

Along with Michael Twelftree, proprietor of Two Hands Wines, Barossa Valley, Australia , Michael & Fiona set up Mischief & Mayhem in 2004 to demystify Burgundy wines whilst still playing to their core strengths.  Michael & Fiona live and work in Burgundy, and with their expert knowledge work tirelessly to discover fantastic vineyards and dedicate themselves to producing outstanding wines with complex characteristics marketed simply and in a contemporary way to increase consumer accessibility.

Michael & Fiona are visiting Britain for a short time only at the end of January / beginning of February and whilst Mischief & Mayhem wines sell for in excess of £100 a bottle in London restaurants, we are bringing you the opportunity to sample some of their wines whilst enjoying a four course gourmet lunch on Friday 3rd February 2012 at 12.30 for 1pm in the Orangery restaurant of the General Burgoyne, Great Urswick.  The cost of this event which is limited to just 20 seats is just £35 per person.  You can reserve your places by calling the General Burgoyne on 01229586394 or replying to this email.

We hope to see you on Thursday 2nd February for what is set to be an exciting exclusive event to South Cumbria.
